Neseblod- Norwegian Black Metal

NESEBLOD RECORDS PROUDLY PRESENTS "NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL - PART ONE"  Exhitition

On Thursday March the 29th, I went to the opening of the exhibition called Norwegian Black Metal at Popsenteret in Oslo. It was mainly rarities Neseblod Records have had stored for many many years who now got showed of. If you´re a big fan of Mayhem, Darkthrone or Burzum there is plenty of small and interesting things to look at.
I think it is a really good idea to make this kind of exhibition, but I must admit I was a little dissapointet when I arrived. NOT because the material was not interesting, but as an art student I got a little critical about how everything was put together. It was all Black Metalized and it looked grim.. It was just like inside the Neseblod Records store..only now they had much more space! ...But I wish they had placed things around more "exclusive", careful and given more place and space to the material. Anyway... It felt at least pretty cosy in there ;)

Euronymous of Mayhem´s Cross

The original painting which is inside Darkthrone´s album Under A Funeral Moone

The first Darkthrone drawing :)

One school picture is of Necrobutcher  and Manheim from Mayhem when they was in the sixth grade :)

OLD Mayhem pictures!

Love this one!!! Euronymous and the Parrot! Totally Black Metal!

Only Mayhem casettes!

Slayer Magazine and photos from Jon Kristiansen aka Metallion had it´s own corner.

This installation was a bit interesting. Inside they have projected three videos of bands like Darktrhone and Old Funeral. And you had to see through small holes in the wood to watch them. It was pretty hard to see them good, but I guess that builds on the idea that some parts of Metal should be  or is hard to get hold on.

After a while they showed a video of Darkthrone playing from 1990!
They are so young and small and cute!!! Haha

Darkthrone screening!

And then me and my good friend Erlend and Saga had some fun with my new Moose..cooking...thing..
Before we went to Unholy for some more beer and good music!

I´m looking forward to "part two" sometime in the future!

The exhibition is open from March 29th to 29th of April.

01.03.2010

To day it is two years since my Mom died....sleeping in her bed.
I miss her absolutely every day, especially when there is a lot of good times in my life.
I also miss my dog Aika, and my Grandmother who also died within a year back then. Hard times.
It is so strange that it has gone two years already, it does not feel like it... or, time for me after 2010 have gone totally out of control. I could have beed five months ago, 10 months ... four or seven years...
We all miss you!

A beautiful picture of here when she was around my age.

She always said that when she died, we should play this song in her funeral.
This will be her song for eternity!
