Moosey Christmas preparations!

Christmas is almost here!!! NICE! But first, I´ll show some of the Christmas preparations I´ve did before I had to leave Oslo to go to the sweet sweet west-coast of Norway! Stavanger, then Haugesund, then back to Stavanger :)

HALLOWEEN 2011

Every Halloween I use to make a new mask... this year it was time for the Return of the Darkness and Moose. 

I was dressed like a Moose both Friday and Saturday on different locations in Oslo, it was fun :)

The mask is totally handmade and took  MAAAAANY hours to make, but I love to do stuff like that, hehe

 It was weird to see how it looked like in real. Weird but nice :)

Besides from that I think moving to Oslo was not a bad idea :) So far life has been pretty good! 

Nekromalistics in Stavanger

Before I left Stavanger I went out on a quite spontaneous  photo shoot  with my friend and great photograph Anne Marie Sneisen. Cute girl from someplace outside Oslo, who now live and works in Stavanger. She is the master of black-metal-ish-dark-something-something photos! Here is just some few of the photos taken that day. I especially like the first one, it reminds me about one of my favorite drawings by Theodor Kittelsen, Draugen.  You can see I have... how can I explain it... found something really interesting and raw in Kittelsen drawing Draugen. Like an endless cry....
Pretending to be a moose in the forest while people are walking by is also pretty fun :)

Oslo and 1BA exhibition!

ALRIGHT! I have been living in Oslo some weeks now, and so far it has been really really enjoyable! The school is awesome, my class is fantastic, I live in a cute flat with two other good friends, I god a job and my best friend Trine lives right across a nice green park! Life feels good! I almost feel I have had to much luck lately...so now I´m just waiting for something really horrible to happen just to hold the balance up.. hehe.. :p

Anyway, my class has already had one exhibition, in our working places. It all happened really fast, but I think it turned out pretty good after all :)
Sadly I have only a few pictures from the exhibition, I wish I had much more!!!

Oslo! Art and stomach butterflies!

Last week I was in Oslo. First I had to go to a Glittertind concert at Karmøy, it was awesome as always! Loads of singing, dancing, beer, great persons, retardedness and loosing items and my voice.... :D
 Anyway, Oslo, I was invited to come to the Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo to work there for 5 days with...what I do best, drawing, to convince them that I was the right person to start there after the summer! I was there with  around 42 other fantastic talented people!! Hard days, HARD competition but a wonderful experience :)

Here is what I had time to make there. It's inspired by to works by Francesca Woodman, a photograph  from  America, and some norwegian news. And nature........

And of course, In Oslo live my beloved best freind Trine Grimm. I stayed at her place the whole time :) It was nice to be with here so many days in a row! She made me breakfast, I made her dinner, she got me free tickets to Joan Jett, I bought her flowers.. sweetness!!! <3

And Trines Candy Girl came by to party with us on Saturday, and brought home made cupcakes with tiny colourful dicks on them :D

Moose the day!

Mooses come walking over the hill

A wery nice poem :) Sometimes when I'm bored or I have been working with drawings or similar, I often get a urge  to do something compleatly different. And this is the result of one of those times. The moose mask I have made myself, I was dressed as a moose at a Halloween party. It has'nt been so much activites on this blog for a time now. Thats because I have been working every friggin day and in the evening I have been working with "art" so I had enough works I could send to  norwegian Art Academies. My dream/plan at the moment is to be a student again, in Bergen, Oslo or Trondheim. But if I dont get in...I just try next year... and the year after that, and the year after than.. :)

Here is something from the later stuff I've done.  It's about Black Metal, in the way I experience it, hehe

GOATLORD & DARKTHRONE

Pure demoniac Blessing

Alright in the night! In january I figure out I wanted to join a Darkthrone design contest. They are going to re-release two old albums and wanted new cover artworks, Ravishing Grimness and Goatlord.  Fantastic albums! Anyway, I did´t actually have the time to make two drawings to the contest those days, but when it was around 10 days left I figure out that if I don´t do this now, I´m going to regret it.
After almost a month ( were I kinda figure out someone else had won the contest and I started to forget about it) I got a mail... a mail witch made me smile BIG TIME!!! The Darkthrone guys had picked one of MY drawings to be the new cover of Goatlord! ...my drawing...DARKTHRONE... still can´t believe it! :D
The artwork on Ravishing Grimness was pretty nice, I can see why they wanted that one on the cover. Congratulation!

When Moose rage wild in my heart!

...that is not the title of the drawing, it is just some time since I talked about Moose.  :) They are Alfa o Mega. The end.

Anyway, I made this in the end of 2010, a very turbulent year for me! Every thing happened! Three of my close once died.. my apartment got destroyed by fire! Tomorrow it is actually one year ago it happend... what a dramatic night..ugh! It was totally the best kick-off event to the norwegian Metal festival Inferno! ..Haha! I also moved into a pink princess room, then I moved to a hous with 5 others and every thing went wrong..then it got better.. But I also got a lot of new friends, even a BOYFRIEND..and that was... a rare experience. hehe A nice one :) But DAMN it takes a lot of time to be together with someone! I almost had NO time to work with my own stuff for seven month! But then again I had many nice hours with Alex :) This is like the first drawing I made after I was done at the Art school... that´s NOT god! But now, in 2011, I´m finally back on the track! From new years eve until now I have finished at least six drawings! Yeeeee.. Two Black Metal, two pink, one BIG and one similar to this one :)

Oh My Goat!

Hehehe, just another oh-look-at-me-with-goat-fur-picture! But this one is funny, 

it looks like I have a big huge white hair bangs! 

Besides from that I just decided to go to Oslo in the beginning of February! My boyfriend is also going with me, yeeeah! There I@m going to see Glittertind AGAIN, (haha) ..a Norwegian folk rock somethingsomething nice metal if you did not know! And I want to see the Queen musical We Will Rock You! And my BEST friend Trine Grimm is going to do two tattoos on me!! She is the BEST! Smeeeeeetness! It is going to be so necromalistic!

The Weekend!!

Weekend...Smooth! On Saturday it was drawing that mattered! As you see I´m not that satisfied ...yet! hehe,  It´s still in progress... How the end result is going to be nobody knows. But that´s the fun part.. Anyway, the plan it to make it GRIM! Like Ravishing Grimness!

.....Aaaand then after some hours I got a little bored and had fun with my goat :)

On Sunday, my Boyfriend, his parents and me went on a little trip to Byrkjedalstunet up in the mountains. They have a really nice shop there with loads of moose stuff, souvenirs and old-fashion something something blablabla. And a little sweet restaurant, were they had the BEST apple cake EVER!  :D
Anyway, the coolest thing with this place was that they had some old cheers, with hand painted Theodor Kittelsen art!!! If you don´t know who Kittelsen is..shame on you! ;)

Finally I had a place and some time work on a big drawing! Feels NICE! And I just finished it today! Picture is from yesterdays session! The name of the drawing is... "Pre-Orgasmic" ...

Alright!

Today started with BAD weather and a stupid bus... But then, when I came to work I saw one of my drawings (the one below) in the local newspaper. This made me pretty happy and saved the day! The person I sold it to was talking about how terrible it is that a fantastic gallery, Galleri Sølvberget, we have in  Stavanger is maybe going to be closed down.  He used it as a symbol of the anger he feels about the closing-it-down-ideas.
And then I got the message that my drawing is hanging on the wall at  Bliss - Art and Development in Stavanger now. Sweetness! It´s so nice when stuff like this happens! :)

Lille Rødstrupen

Some time ago I had a totally chill day at work on KinoKino!  So then I had time to work on a little Christmas present to my Boyfriends parents :) They have been the nicest people in the world to me! So something I had to give them!  ..it´s still in progress though... BUT the nuts on the side is awesomely good, especially if you also have a big fancy cup of caffe! uuuh yeah!
 One of the reasons I choose this pretty little bird is because it was my Grandmothers favorite bird.
She died in november, and I miss her a lot... Christmas was also pretty odd because neither was she there, nor my Mom...

Anyway, I was supposed to talk about the moose, but now it turns out to be just a lot of bla bla bla Birdy birdy.  NEXT time I promise something else! Ugh!
